Eleven speed cameras will come online in Waterloo Region school zone in the next two weeks.

The Region of Waterloo posted on its social media the days new speed cameras roll out , with the first five in use by Wednesday.

Cambridge will get three speed cameras in use by Wednesday at Monsignor Doyle Catholic School Secondary School on Myers Road, a shared camera for both Moffat Creek Public School and Holy Spirit Catholic Elementary School on Myers Road and St. Gabriel Catholic Elementary School on Baldwin Drive.

In Kitchener, Forest Heights Collegiate Institute on Fischer-Hallman Road and Forest Hill Public School on Westmount Road East will have operational cameras by Wednesday.

The next round of cameras are expected to be in use by Oct. 8.
