COLUMBIA, S.C. — Incarnation Lutheran Church is gearing up for three days of German food, music, and family fun as it once again hosts Oktoberfest Columbia , a community celebration of its German heritage.
The festival takes place at the gray stone church with the red doors, located at 3005 Devine Street, on Friday, October 10, and Saturday, October 11, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; and Sunday, October 12, from noon to 6 p.m. Admission is free.
Mayor Daniel Rickenmann will tap the first keg on Friday at 5 p.m., joined by Pastor Emily Willhide, Bishop Rev. Ginny Aebischer, and even an appearance from Martin Luther.
Festivalgoers can enjoy an authentic German menu featuring schnitzel, bratwurst, and classic sides, with kid-friendly options like hot dogs and chips. Sweet treats will be availa
