BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - COLD FRONT ON THE WAY

It stays hot as we remain ahead of an approaching cold front today and tomorrow.

Highs will reach the low to mid 90°s with feels-like temperatures peaking just under 100°. Showers and t-storms will be widely scattered this afternoon, with many staying dry. Showers and t-storms will be likely, especially on Wednesday PM.

One or two storms could become strong/heavy with frequent lightning, gusty winds, and localized nuisance-type street flooding. Showers and t-storms will linger into Thursday as the front moves through the area down into the Gulf.
