Gunfire in St. Cloud saw stray bullets strike the St. Cloud State University hockey arena on Sunday.
The incident unfolded around 2:10 p.m. at 6th Avenue and 13th Street South, where around five shots were fired by an unknown suspect.
One of the bullets struck a second floor window at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center. Fortunately, nobody was injured, and the window itself is "mostly intact," according to SCSU spokesperson Brandie Yale.
Yale told the Star Tribune that around 100 players, coaches and staff from "several hockey groups" were in the arena at the time.
St. Cloud PD said that the building "was not the intended target of the gunshots." The investigation into the shooting continues.
