LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Residents in southwest Little Rock are calling for the removal of their city representative.
A petition was filed on Sept. 17 with the city of Little Rock to remove Ward 2 director Ken Richardson from the city board of directors.
In the document, the petitioner claims that Richardson has failed to do his job, writing, “Ward 2 needs a director that is coherent, functioning and actively involved.”
Richardson took a leave of absence last May after multiple life-threatening surgeries. Documents obtained by KARK 4 News show that he is still receiving payments.
Working 4 You’s Jessica Rockwell has reached out to Richardson several times but has not received a response.
