YORK COUNTY, S.C. — A months-long multi-agency investigation culminated in a massive drug bust on Sept. 4, resulting in the seizure of nearly 11 pounds of methamphetamine, over half a pound of fentanyl, 602 grams of cocaine, 13 firearms, and more from what the York County Sheriff's Office described as a criminal organization operating out of a Clover barbershop.

The investigation began in February following community complaints about drug activity and violent crime, intensifying after a shooting at Roosevelt Park in Clover during a Little League baseball game. The operation centered on a barbershop/convenience store at 501 Kings Mountain Street in Clover.
