BENTONVILLE — Shenandoah River State Park, in partnership with Downriver Canoe Company, will host the inaugural Bentonville Bike Bash from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
Part of the national Bike Your Park Day, the event also coincides with National Public Lands Day, which means parking is free at all state and national parks, said Megan Goin, the park’s chief ranger of visitor experience.
“We have 25 miles of trail here in the park and what I would say is unique about our park is that all of our trails can accommodate bikes. That’s not the case in all state parks,” said Goin. “Some trails are for hiking only, but all of our trails can accommodate mountain biking here and they’re all great.
