Even as the Coyote girls volleyball team contemporaneously took on Dickinson mere paces away on the same campus, the Coyote faithful were plentiful and exuberant Thursday night at Legends Field for their boys soccer squad. Minot North was the opponent, touting a young roster and a 6-5-1 record entering play, setting the stage for a closely contested affair.

In a first half where scoring chances were at a premium, it was the Coyotes who put on the early pressure.
