SPOKANE, Wash — Spokane city leaders introduced a resolution at the Finance Committee meeting this week that outlines the city's federal priorities for the upcoming year.

The city says the resolution details projects and programs that leaders will call on federal lawmakers to support as they advocate for Spokane residents.

The city identified four key areas to advocate for: protecting civil rights and programs essential to the most vulnerable, improving public safety and access to care, growing the regional economy and strengthening the local workforce, and investing in critical infrastructure.
