AUGUSTA, Ga. —

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office confirms reports of an active shooter at the Augusta Mall and are currently securing the scene.

Authorities are asking everyone to avoid the area.

Two people are in custody, authorites reported at 2:10 p.m.
