Fargo, N.D. (KVRR) – It’s a chance to celebrate one of the region’s most unique farms.
Ten Seven Acres in Galchutt, North Dakota has free open farm days all weekend long as part of National Alpaca Farm days.
Owners Dirk and Jessie Monson have been offering people a chance to visit the farm and walk with the alpacas for several years, and they say sharing their farm with visitors is incredibly rewarding.
“These guys are just fun to hang out with. You can hear their little hums, that’s their main way to communicate. In Maui’s case he would like more food. But seeing people interact with these guys is just absolutely gratifying.”
They’ll be offering alpaca nature walks at the farm through the end of October, and you can find more information on all the fun on the farm HERE.
