FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Former Arkansas and Notre Dame head football coach Lou Holtz will be back in Fayetteville on Saturday as the Fighting Irish face the Razorbacks.

The Notre Dame Club of Arkansas made the announcement in a Facebook post on Sept. 15, showing Holtz getting his tickets for the first-ever matchup between Arkansas and Notre Dame.

Holtz was the head coach at Arkansas from 1977 to 1983 and led the program to five bowl games in his six seasons in charge, including an Orange Bowl berth in 1977. He went 60-21-6 during his time in Fayetteville.
