OCONEE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) - An Upstate man was arrested for alleged child sex crimes after an almost three year investigation.

20-year-old Wilson Nahun Figuero-Argueta, of West Union, was arrested Monday for sexually assaulting a child, Oconee County deputies said.

The investigation began back in October 2022 and Figuero-Argueta, who was 17 years old during the time, engaged in sexual battery with the victim, according to the arrest warrant.

Figuero-Argueta remains in jail under a $50,000 bond.
