KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — Tennessee women's basketball head coach Kim Caldwell said Tuesday that Ruby Whitehorn has been reinstated, ending her suspension following her arrest last month.
Caldwell told media members ahead of the team's first practice that the senior guard is back with the team.
Whitehorn recently pleaded guilty to misdemeanor trespassing and aggravated vandalism following her arrest on Friday, August 8. Charges of domestic assault and aggravated burglary were dismissed as part of her plea agreement.
Tennessee Athletics announced on August 21 that the player was on an indefinite suspension.
Whitehorn joined Tennessee ahead of the 2024-2025 season from Clemson and played the third-most minutes on the team. She finished fourth on the team in scoring and third on the team
