ANDOVER, Ohio (WOIO) - Local police are looking for a suspect they say went over 80 miles per hour in a village and over 100 miles per hour in a township.

According to a Facebook post from Andover Village Police, officers tried to stop the motorcyclist as they were travelling at a high rate of speed west on U.S. 6.

“Speed in the village was estimated to be above 80 and 100 in the township,” the post said.

The chase of the suspect was called off at Stanhope Kellogsville Road as the suspect was passing cars in an unsafe area.

“Risking everything just to avoid a stop is not worth it,” the post said.
