Weslaco officials join Gov. Abbott for economic announcement

WESLACO, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The City of Weslaco and Mayor Adrian Gonzalez will host Governor Greg Abbott at the Mid-Valley Airport on Tuesday.

The governor will make an announcement on economic development regarding the airport that will help boost the area economy.

Along with the mayor, in attendance will be Senator Juan "Chuy" Hinojosa, Senator Adam Hinojosa, Representative Armando Martinez, and Weslaco Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Barbara Garza.
