Valparaiso is "in good shape on expenses and on revenue," city administrator Bill Oeding told the city council during its Monday meeting, despite projected gaps between revenue and expenses for the coming year.

In a presentation to the body, Oeding and Clerk-Treasurer Holly Taylor stressed that the outlook is much better than it appears on paper.
