Oklahoma State will be holding a news conference Tuesday, Sept. 23, after OSU football head coach Mike Gundy was fired.

Gundy's firing came three games into his 21st season with the Cowboys.

Doug Meacham is set to be named the interim head coach, The Oklahoman has confirmed, with Rob Glass filling a role overseeing the program as a whole.

At the news conference, OSU will be addressing next steps, details about the decision to fire Gundy and the future of the program.
