A statement regarding the “loss of confidence” in FCPS leadership was released on Tuesday. In it, five representatives signed in agreement, calling for an independent forensic audit of the district’s finances.

Those are Representatives Chad Aull, Anne Gay Donworth, Adriell Camuel, Adam Moore and Lindsey Burke.

All five represent part of Fayette County.

The lawmakers say FCPS leaders’ efforts to address the financial challenges have been inadequate.
