DOVER, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Stewart County Sheriff’s Office reports that weapons and drugs were recovered from a vehicle following a high-speed pursuit on Monday.

An off-duty deputy called 911 after observing and later following a vehicle driving erratically in the area of Bear Springs.

Other deputies attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver sped off, making its way to Highway 79. The pursuit continued as the driver was reportedly speeding over 110 mph.
