Yesterday, the first official day of fall, also marked the end of the 2025 Oklahoma State Fair . Our state fair is consistently ranked among the best in the nation, and the impact from this 11-day event is significant. Last year’s fair generated about $89 million in economic benefit to Oklahoma City .

This year, the event featured a couple of amazing new backdrops in the OG&E Coliseum and the newly installed, 72-foot-tall Bolt Tower , built to commemorate the park’s 118-year history. The coliseum hosted three major events during the state fair: nine Disney on Ice performances, a three-day PBR bull riding competition, and its first concert, Trace Atkins. The coliseum was the first MAPS 4 project to be released and it opened this summer.
