The Pittsburgh Steelers could get back safety DeShon Elliott and cornerback Joey Porter Jr. against the Minnesota Vikings , head coach Mike Tomlin said.

Porter is battling a hamstring injury. Tomlin did seem optimistic that Porter would end up playing a week after he suffered the injury, but instead he has missed the last two weeks.

With Porter out, it would be cornerback Brandin Echols has suited up instead. Echols grabbed an interception and the key fourth down stop against the Patriots on Sunday.
