CITYWIDE — Assemblymember Zohran Mamdani has taken New York by storm. After winning the Democratic primary for New York City mayor in June, Mamdani holds a commanding lead as he heads into the general election in November.

The 33-year-old Democratic socialist, who has vowed to freeze rent prices, increase housing and raise taxes for New York’s richest 1%, faces ample criticism from the opposition. With just six weeks until Election Day, New Yorkers have a very important decision to make.
