PHILADELPHIA — A young Eagles player is moving in the right direction after a confidence-sapping summer. Which is good, because he might start this weekend.
Eagles cornerback Kelee Ringo is making improvements and staying positive after losing the starting CB2 job in training camp, defensive coordinator Vic Fangio said Tuesday.
“I’ve told Kelee here recently — not in the last few days, but since the end of camp — he’s going to get his opportunity at some point,” Fangio said. “And he’s got to be ready.”
That opportunity could come as soon as Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
