CHESTER, S.C. — An investigation by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) led to the arrest of a man for an armed robbery in March.
Michael Hollingsworth, 43, escaped from authorities after an armed robbery at the South Carolina DMV building in Chester on March 5.
Investigators identified Hollingsworth as the robbery suspect and arrested him, SLED said on Tuesday.
Hollingsworth is charged with armed robbery, criminal conspiracy, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. He is in Chester County jail awaiting a bond hearing.
Rashonda Hollingsworth, the suspect's cousin, is wanted for conspiracy to commit armed robbery. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact SLED at 1-866-472-8477.
