Southwestern Ontario chambers of commerce are welcoming strengthened economic ties between Canada and Mexico.
In a recent joint release, chambers in Chatham-Kent, Leamington, Sarnia-Lambton, Wallaceburg, Amherstburg and Windsor-Essex commended the efforts, and also recognized the significant contributions of Mexican workers in the region.
“Our chambers proudly recognize both the value of Canada’s strengthened relationship with Mexico and the direct contributions of Mexican workers to our communities,” Rory Ring, president and chief executive of the Chatham-Kent chamber, said in the release.
