TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A semi-truck fire shut down the southbound lanes of I-75 near the 305 mile marker Tuesday.

A traffic camera from the Florida Department of Transportation showed that the incident happened right at the Hernando-Sumter County line.

Both Hernando and Sumter County Fire Rescue have responded to the scene. Two northbound lanes have also been closed, causing delays.

At this time, the extent of any injuries is unknown.
