NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The sentencing came down for the former Tennessee Speaker of the House, 66-year-old Glen Casada and his Chief of Staff, 38-year-old Cade Cothren, on Tuesday.

Casada and Cothren were sentenced for honest services wire fraud, conspiracy to commit money laundering, using fake names to carry out a fraud and money laundering.

The United States Department of Justice sentenced Casada to 36 months in federal prison. Cothren was sentenced a little over a week ago to 30 months in federal prison.
