PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A man was shot to death in the Hunting Park section of Philadelphia, and the suspected shooter may be his own brother.

As police investigate, a family member is reacting to the tragedy.

"As far as I know, he was a good man. He was a good man, good father, you know. He did basically anything for his family," Sheila Hayes said of the victim, who she says is her niece's husband.

Sheila Hayes was speaking of the man who police say was shot to death in a home in the 3800 block of North Franklin Street.

"He'll help you," she said, "Like when you need something, he'll help you."

Officers responded to a call for help shortly after 11 a.m. Tuesday. When they arrived, they found the victim had been shot in the head.
