New York Jets linebacker Quincy Williams will be placed on injured reserve due to a shoulder injury and be required to miss at least four games, according to an ESPN report.

He left Sunday's 29-27 loss at Tampa Bay late in the first half with a left shoulder injury after a Buccaneers offensive lineman landed on him.

Williams, 29, has been a mainstay in the middle of the Jets defense since he was claimed by New York ahead of the 2021 season when Jacksonville placed the former third-round pick on waivers after just two seasons.
