FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - A slow-moving stationary front will keep showers in the forecast this evening through Wednesday. While rainfall amounts across Northeast Indiana and Northwest Ohio, on average, will remain lighter than most probably want (0.25″ to perhaps as much as 0.50″), there will be pockets of briefly heavy rainfall as well! Those seem to work on a meteorological “lottery system” around here, however!
Outside of scattered showers, Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with cooler highs in the low 70s. Clearing late Wednesday will likely result in another night/Thursday morning of dense fog with visibility down to a quarter mile or less. It will clear out by midday, however, with highs in the mid 70s.
The tranquil, dry weather pattern we’ve saw a lot of in late summer will return
