Patrick Caster, president of Dignity Health’s St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Oxnard, Calif., and St. John’s Hospital Camarillo (Calif.), will be leaving the organization, effective Oct. 31, according to a Sept. 11 memo obtained by Ventura County Star. “Please join me in wishing Patrick all the best in his future endeavors,” Julie Sprengel, president and CEO of CommonSpirit Health’s California region, said. “We will begin a search for a new president immediately.”

Mr. Caster first joined Dignity Health, now part of Chicago-based CommonSpirit Health, in 2017 as COO of California Hospital Medical Center in Los Angeles, before leaving to serve as president and CEO of Memorial Hospital of Gardena (Calif.).
