Jen Hatmaker is opening up about the time she learned her then husband Brandon Hatmaker was having an affair with another woman.

The 51-year-old author and former host of HGTV’s Your Big Family Renovation has detailed in her new book, “Awake,” about discovering her ex was having an affair, sharing the moment she found out.

In the memoir, Jen writes that she was woken from a “dead sleep” at “2:30 am, on July 11, 2020,” to hear her husband whispering on his phone.

“I hear five whispered words not meant for me: ‘I just can’t quit you.’ My husband of 26 years is voice-texting his girlfriend next to me in our bed. It is the end of my life as I know it,” she shared, via People .
