LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Crystal Rogers’ family sat down with WAVE News anchor Maira Ansari to share their thoughts on the conviction of the three men who killed the Bardstown mother.

Nearly a week ago, Brooks Houck was sentenced to life in prison for the murder of Crystal Rogers, who was his then-girlfriend. Convicted accomplices Steven and Joseph Lawson were also sentenced to 17 and 25 years, respectively.

Over the past ten years, since this case started, Maira Ansari has been talking to Till Ballard, Crystal’s grandfather. In the tangled web of this horrific case, Till also lost his son, Tommy, who was desperately trying to solve his daughter’s case.

Till agreed to sit down with WAVE and talk about the case from his family’s perspective, now that a big chapter of this case is closed.
