OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - President Donald Trump, along with the FDA, is discouraging expecting mothers from using Tylenol, specifically acetaminophen, linking it to an increased likelihood of autism in children.
“So, taking Tylenol is not good. I’ll say it’s not good. For this reason, the are strongly recommending that women limit Tylenol use during pregnancy unless medically necessary,” said President Trump during a press conference on Monday.
In response, a range of health experts from around the world noted there’s no conclusive evidence to support an association between Tylenol and autism.
