Alabama running back Jam Miller is days away from making his 2025 debut, and the anticipation around the Mal M. Moore Athletic Facility is palpable.

Miller, who has not played yet this season because of a dislocated collarbone , is providing reason for excitement.

“That man, he practiced like a wild man today,” quarterback Ty Simpson said Tuesday. “He was just happy to get out there. It will be exciting getting him back.”

Miller drew all kinds of praise during camp , but then he sustained the collarbone injury during the second scrimmage. Alabama has been without him since.

But Kalen DeBoer said he expects Miller to play for No. 17 Alabama (2-1) against No. 5 Georgia (3-0) on Saturday, Sept. 27 (6:30 p.m. CT, ABC) at Sanford Stadium in Athens, Georgia.
