We in the Grand Valley have managed to remain dry outside of a spare sprinkle or two, and now the rest of the Western Slope will begin to follow suit. Today has felt quite chilly with temperatures barely cracking into the 70s. Tomorrow will be much closer to average with a high of 78°. Clear skies tomorrow will help us warm up a little bit. In fact, by Thursday we are expected to be in the low 80s once more.
Saturday evening and Sunday a low-pressure system from the Pacific will bring widespread rainfall to the Western Slope. So, if you have outdoor plans, I recommend getting them done during the morning and afternoon on Saturday. We will be watching this system as we approach the weekend.
