GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) - Late night's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" returns to ABC on Tuesday night following a six-day suspension, but some audiences in the Western Slope and nationwide are still wondering whether they will be able to tune in.
Despite ABC's suspension on the show being lifted, Kimmel still won't be seen by nearly a quarter of the network's affiliate reach, with broadcasting giants Nexstar and Sinclair standing firm, for now, in their decision not to air the show on their ABC local affiliate stations, which make up over 20 percent of the national market. In a statement Tuesday morning, Nexstar says their stations will, "focus on continuing to produce local news and other programming relevant to their respective markets."
