KAILUA-KONA (HawaiiNewsNow) - Hawaii Island police are asking for the public’s help in tracking down a suspect in a Kona assault.
It happened just after 1 a.m. on Sept. 6 along Aliʻi Drive in Kailua-Kona.
A 58-year-old man was found with serious injuries.
A 55-year-old male acquaintance of the victim also reported being assaulted during the same time frame.
He told officers he was confronted by two men and a woman, and was struck in the face by one of the men.
The suspect is described as a man in his early 20s, about 5′10″ with a thin build and weighing 160 pounds.
