HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The FBI has arrested and charged a child pornography suspect here on Oahu.

Court documents say agents used cell phone and social media records to track down Victor Calderon to a tent at Mokuleia Army Beach last Friday.

Investigators say the 28-year-old had multiple videos of sexual abuse on his phone.

Honolulu’s FBI office was initially tipped off by Swedish police who detected a Hawaii cell phone sending explicit videos to a minor in Sweden.

Calderon contacted a minor female in Sweden through the application, WhatsApp, on May 6, 2025.

Calderon is due in court on Thursday.
