WAILUKU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Wailuku First Friday is a monthly event that hosts a vibrant community celebration featuring a variety of local vendors including food, crafts, fashion and more.
The event takes place on the first Friday of each month on Market Street and is open to the public.
“Wailuku First Friday was started by a bunch of different merchants to reinvigorate Wailuku town and invite Maui and visitors alike to come back and support small businesses,” said Daryl Fujiwara, Wailuku First Friday coordinator.
The event is an energetic street party where organizers bring in local vendors to help support the small town of Wailuku.
Some vendors draw large crowds as people line up down Main Street before the event even begins.
