Srinagar | :Police on Tuesday said that it has recovered a significant quantity of contraband from a shop in village Watalpora, Beerwah.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar Police said that Police Station Beerwah received specific inputs about the storage of narcotic substances in a shop at Watalpora for illegal sale to the local youth, adding therein that a police party from Police Station Beerwah, accompanied by the Executive Magistrate raided the said shop and during the search recovered approximately 4 kilograms of contraband substance (Ganja) from the possession of one Saddam Yousuf S/o Mohammad Yousuf Mir R/o Watalpora, Beerwah, who was subsequently arrested.
