DU QUOIN, Ill. (KFVS) - The Du Quoin State Fair’s management team wanted to break attendance records this year.

And according to a recent report, they achieved their goal.

On Tuesday, September 23, Illinois Governor JB Pritzker announced that the 2025 Du Quoin State Fair drew 282,202 people, breaking the previous record of 204,004 set in 2024.

The report stated that grandstand ticket sales were enhanced by a strong lineup from Little River Band to TESLA to Tucker Wetmore.

The carnival vendor logged 245,000 rides with the Mardi Gras Glass House and the Giant Wheel among the most popular.

Campers also packed the fair this year, with 625 permits issued.

Next year’s Du Quoin State Fair is scheduled for August 28 through Sept. 7.
