BARTONVILLE ( 25News Now ) - After a Limestone Community High School student was arrested on Monday accused of bringing a weapon on campus, school district leaders are speaking out as the investigation continues.

Superintendent Keith Brown told us on Tuesday that the investigation is ongoing, and he couldn’t provide information about the type of weapon or whether the student is facing any disciplinary action.

He confirmed that the student will not return to Limestone Community High School.

“This whole situation was handled very, very swiftly. From the time we got the report to the time that the student was in custody, it was about three to four minutes. The important thing is if you see something, say something,” said Brown.
