Ashley Antor nodded home a cross from Ammy Contreras in the first overtime to lift Union City past Ferris, 3-2, in Union City.

The Soaring Eagles had lost their two prior games and trailed, 2-1 after a goal and an assist by Ferris’ Elith Ramirez. Noemi Cruz converted Ramirez’s assist to put the Bulldogs ahead in the second half, but there were still some goals left in the contest.

Freshman Carla Taveras tied the game for the Soaring Eagles with her first career goal just past the midway point of the second half. It stayed tied until Antor’s team-leading fifth goal brought the game to an end.

Ferris fell to 4-3. The Bulldogs got off to a 4-1 start, but have lost back-to-back one-goal games.
