Kyara Castro Gamboa notched her third hat trick of the season in Hamilton West’s 6-0 win against Trenton in Hamilton.

The Hornets fired 30 shots on goal in their first shutout win of the season.

Castro Gamboa extends her team lead in goals to 10. The junior has scored more than half of Hamilton West’s goals.

Domeesha Joseph, Jenelice Ramos, and Tracy Beteta added goals for the Hornets.

Trenton’s goalkeeper Jessica Dennis stopped 20 shots.

Hamilton West snapped a four-game losing streak and improved its record to 4-4.

Trenton is 1-5.
