Carter Stetz scored his fourth goal of the season and Robert Boyke made it stand up with four saves, as St. Joseph’s of Metuchen blanked Plainfield, 1-0, in Metuchen, for its fourth straight win.

It was the fourth clean sheet for Boyke. The Falcons (7-0) have allowed just three goals this season.

Junior Noah Charnecki supplied the assist as Stetz scored his first goal of the season.

It was the end of a three-game win streak for Plainfield, now 4-2.
