New Delhi: Delhi Police have booked self-styled godman Swami Chaitanyananda Saraswati, also known as Parthasarathy, a manager at a private engineering institute in Vasant Kunj, for allegedly molesting multiple female students. At least 17 girls pursuing PGDM courses under the EWS scholarship at the Sri Sharada Institute of Indian Management have accused him of sexual harassment. He has been booked under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and is currently absconding.

Police said the accused has a history of sexual abuse allegations, with earlier cases filed against him in 2009 and 2016. The Sri Sharada Peetham, Sringeri, has publicly severed ties with Saraswati, calling his actions “illegal and inappropriate”.
