Commuters of Mumbai Metro will now be able to book a single ticket across multiple metro lines through the OneTicket app.

The app, developed by SequelString and supported by Mumbai Metro One, has come up with a unified digital solution by integrating with the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC).

Piloted on Metro-3 in June 2025, the enhanced version of the OneTicket app generates tickets with QR codes that can be scanned at metro gates, eliminating the need for multiple transactions.

With Mumbai Metro currently spanning 70 km and set to expand to 340 km in the coming years, passengers have often faced the inconvenience of booking separate tickets for different lines operated by multiple agencies.
