History: Bass' musical resume as a producer, composer and multi-instrumentalist goes back more than 20 years, since he joined the family business (his dad is award-winning Eminem producer Jeff Bass). Some of the highlights are co-producing and instrumentation on the 20th anniversary remix of Eminem’s 1996 debut single "Infinite" and producing and performing with deaf hip-hop artist Sean Forbes. In 2023, Bass became a touring member of hip-hop group D12.

The latest: Thursday, the Crofoot Ballroom (1 S. Saginaw in Pontiac) hosts "One Night Only Music Revue," a showcase of musicians who have recorded at the Basses' newly renovated F.B.T. Studios in Ferndale. The show is modeled after the classic Motown
